Vista - Damp Proof
Vista is a specialised product which is a water based acrylic exterior coating which is useful for damp surfaces. This waterproofing coat has a crack bridging ability and anti fungal characteristics.
Vista Damp Proof is a fibre-reinforced elastomeric liquid that acts like an applicator as well as a remover of external damp surfaces. It can be used as a waterproofing membrane for terraces and walls. As it is formulated with elastomeric and resilient acrylic polymers and reinforcing polyester fibres, upon curing it forms a thick, seamless, durable membrane. This membrane makes terraces, balconies, walls and other exterior surfaces water-proof.
PLASTER New masonary surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. It is recommended to allow 28 days as the curing time for new masonary surfaces.
CLEANING Surface should be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Remove all existing bitumen coatings completely. It is recommended to use intense wire brushing or high speed water jet for thorough cleaning.
REPAIRING The substrate must be checked for its soundness using small hammer. All cracks at corner joints, channels and parapets should be properly treated.
FILLING FOR CRACKS For filling cracks upto 3mm use Crack Seal. Bigger cracks, damaged portions and hollow areas must be repaired with polymer modified cement mortars.

Application
- Apply a first self priming coat of Vista Damp Proof, by diluting with 33% of water.
- Allow to dry between coat 4-6 hours.
- Apply first waterproofing coat without any dilution. Allow to dry 4-6 hours.
- Apply the second waterproofing coat without any dilution in a perpendicular direction to the first.
